On March 23rd, the Ministry of Administration organized a fire drill for all employees. The purposes of this activities were mainly about:
1. Making all employees fully
understand the basic fire-fighting knowledge.
2. Enhancing and improving
employee’s awareness of safety and self-protection abilities.
3. Learning to conduct orderly
evacuations to ensure the safety of life and property.
4. Mastering skills of dealing with unexpected fire and escaping.
The fire drill was organized by Mr. Tan Shejin, a security officer of the Ministry of Administration. On March 23rd, the alarm rang at 4:40 p.m., and all the employees gathered at the gate of the factory. The security officer first gave a speech for employees about the emergency fire-fighting techniques and escaping skills, later came the explanations of the methods of dry powder fire extinguisher. In this activity, the security officer let the employees to use dry powder fire extinguisher to put out the small scale of fire on the planned spot and fully experience that how to use the fire-fighting equipment right in a fireground.
Through the fire drill, the employee’s awareness of safety and fire-fighting abilities had been strengthened. What’s more. all the employees had deeper understanding about fire-fighting common knowledge, better handling abilities of fire and better coordinating abilities for every organization’s contact staffs. In the future, the Ministry of Administration will organize more meaningful on-site drills!
